I can't believe that summer is almost over. Well, not summer, that will last until autumn sets in officially later in September but children are going back to school, the beaches will empty a bit and the heat will ease up too.
It was a quiet summer. Not much beach time, not much at all and for that I am sorry but, things got in the way.
Soon the call of geese will be an everyday occurance and flocks of birds will be zooming over head toward the southlands.
But until then there is still warmth and sunlight and beaches, though not as full as before will still have many people enjoying the end of summer.
September really is a nice time at the shore. Less crowded for sure. The problem is a lack of life guards as they are not on duty after Labor Day.
At the shore Memorial Day begins the official shore season just as Labor Day ends it.
Another year......
